Bo founded Terra Renewal in 1995. He has 25 years experience in the oil and gas well completion/production field and as an environmental regulator, consultant, and entrepreneur in the management of industrial and municipal residuals/biosolids for beneficial use. Prior to founding Terra Renewal, Smith served as an environmental engineer for two residuals/biosolids management companies, worked for the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality in the Water Division as the manager of no-discharge permitting and compliance, and served as a production engineer with Gulf Oil (Chevron) and J-W Operating Company. Smith is a graduate of the University of Arkansas with a BS in chemical engineering and is a registered professional engineer in seven states.
