Our Safety Awards program is divided into three (3) segments. There are awards for quarterly achievements, and year end drawings. The following are the criteria for each segment and award.
Quarterly Criteria:
- No at-fault accidents
- No loss time due to work related injuries
- Complete each month’s safety training
- Receive a passing grade on all surveillances (4 or 5 out of a possible 5)
- Receive a passing grade on all inspections (13, 14 or 15 out of a possible 15)
- Receive no safety sensate write-ups
- Must be employed by the first day of each month starting the quarter
If the above criteria are met for each quarter, awards will be given to each team member. Awards will be chosen at the beginning of each year.
Yearly Criteria:
- Must be employed by January 1 of each year
- Must pass the quarterly criteria for three (3) of the four (4) quarters
- Must have no at-fault accidents for one (1) full year
- Must have no loss time work related injuries for one (1) full year
Each team member meeting the above yearly criteria will receive an award. Award will be chosen at the beginning of each year.
Year End Drawing Criteria:
- Must be employed by January 1 of each year
- Must pass the quarterly criteria for four (4) of the four (4) quarters
At the end of each year, each team member meeting the year end drawing criteria will have their name put into a drawing. A Terra Renewal team member, not involved in the drawing, will draw one name. That person will receive an award, chosen at the beginning of each year.
Management reserves the right to alter or terminate program as it sees fit.
