About Us
Company Overview
Terra Renewal is a non-hazardous waste management company that takes a scientific and environmentally-responsible approach to liquid and semi-solid refuse disposal. We believe our process and philosophical approach is unique to the marketplace. When we look at our client’s waste we see opportunity. We see the potential for positive transformation. We see waste repurposed. We see waste that can become eco-friendly fertilizer which reduces the need for synthetic fertilizer. We see waste that can become everything from feedstock, to cosmetics to bio-fuel. We see cleaner water entering our watersheds. Simply stated, we see the earth’s future and it looks renewed.
Our professional team includes more than 500 dedicated employees with hundreds of years of experience in soil science, agronomy, geology, regulatory permitting and compliance, transportation, logistics, public relations and customer service. Our service area expands daily and now stretches coast-to-coast.
By allowing Terra Renewal to handle your waste you are not only improving the preservation of our planet’s natural resources for future generations, you are also simultaneously improving the current ecological state of affairs for today’s existence by reducing the size of our landfills, lessening agricultural erosion and making effluent water discharges safe and eco-friendly.
Furthermore, by working with Terra Renewal, you and your company will also be rewarded with improvements to your bottom line by reducing your waste removal costs and a renewed sense of environmental responsibility.

Mission Statement
OUR MISSION is to bring the world four steps closer to a sustainable eco-friendly future by sharing our innovative philosophical view of non-hazardous waste material and how it can be transformed into a valuable, repurposed product by Futurecycling.
The Terra Renewal Vision
At Terra Renewal we see tremendous value beneath the surface of non-hazardous waste material. We see cherished nutrients that are buried in waste product that, if reprocessed correctly, can be reused in a way that benefits our planet. We see opportunity where others see misfortune. We see gratitude where others see complaint. We see the world as our students and Terra Renewal as the teacher. And we see it as our responsibility to share our knowledge with all mankind.

How We Repurpose
At Terra Renewal we collect liquid and semi-solid waste from a myriad of sources including, but not limited to - manufacturing facilities, restaurants, municipal treatment plants and drilling sites. To the majority of our customers the material is just that – waste that needs to be handled. However, nearly all the material we collect is rich with organic nutrients, and for more than a decade we have used several processes to take advantage of these nutrients. For example:
Land Application – Subsoil Injection
In this process we transport the organic material to farmland near the processing plant and incorporate it into the soil as rich fertilizer. This reduces a farmer’s need for manufactured synthetic fertilizer and keeps millions of tons of organic waste out of our landfills.
To accomplish this we partner with farmers and landowners to:
- Minimize the impact of application. We use state-of-the-art equipment with high-flotation tires for minimal soil compaction and disturbance.
- Minimize odor. We use specialized tractors to inject material several inches under the soil.
- Impact crops in a positive way. We understand soil conditions, crop considerations and weather, and we have the expertise to optimize the timing of each application.
- Develop nutrient management plans. These plans best support the soil conditions and farmers’ needs.
Land Application – Top-Spreading
Top-spreading material offers farmers and landowners similar benefits to subsoil injection. This method is typically used on pastureland where residuals are well-digested and there is little potential for odor problems. Much of the mud and cuttings collected from energy drilling sites are handled through top-spreading.
Both subsoil injection and top-spreading land application processes have sustainable agricultural benefits including better soil aeration, higher moisture content to root systems and increased field productivity and yield. Terra Renewal supports and complies with all local and state regulations and does what makes sense for customers and for landowners to create these sustainable benefits.
Dewatering
Dewatering is a process by which a significant portion of the moisture from residuals can be pressed out of the material. The remaining dry material can be disposed of in a variety of ways, and sometimes the resulting water can be flushed into municipal water systems. Dewatering is a viable option for some of our customers. We offer both stationary and portable dewatering presses.
Dewatering offers several economic and environmental advantages:
- Lower material transportation costs
- Lower landfill disposal costs
- Smaller footprint need for projects
- Removal of equipment following process
Re-use as Supplement or Fuel
We collect and transport used oil and cooking grease to our processing facilities where we process and purify it to produce yellow grease. Yellow grease has many “re-uses” including the production of animal feed, soaps, cosmetics, detergents and rubber tire compounds. Yellow grease can be processed and blended with diesel fuel to create bio-diesel which burns cleaner than regular diesel fuel.
